Multiple homecoming events and festivities will take place soon at high schools across the district.
Fairmont High School
Spirit Week will take place from Oct. 3-7 at the home of the golden tornadoes.
Fairmont High School will host a homecoming parade on Oct. 7 at 3:30 p.m. on Main Street in Fairmont. The school will also face off against West Bladen High School on Oct. 7 at 7 p.m.
Lumberton High School
Spirit week will take place from Oct. 3-7 at the school.
Lumberton High and Tanglewood Elementary schools will dismiss at 1 p.m. on Oct. 7 ahead of the homecoming parade, which begins at 4 p.m. The Parade route will begin on 31st Street, proceed down Elm Street, and loop back at Boles-Biggs Funeral Home.
Lumberton High pirates will host the school’s homecoming game on Oct. 7 at 7:30 p.m. as they face off against Gray’s Creek High School.
Red Springs High School
Homecoming week will be observed at Red Springs High School from Oct. 3-7.
Red Springs High School’s homecoming game will take place on Oct. 7 against Clinton High School.
Red Springs High School, Red Springs Middle School and Peterson Elementary will dismiss at 1 p.m.ahead of the homecoming parade on Oct. 7. The Homecoming Parade will take place at 3 p.m.
The parade lineup will begin at 2 p.m. in the school parking lot.
The route will include a right turn onto Church Street, a left turn onto Second Avenue, a right turn onto Main Street, and then a final left turn onto Fourth Avenue to conclude in the Maxway parking lot.

St. Pauls High School
St. Pauls High School’s homecoming game is set for Oct. 7 against Midway High School at 7 p.m. The school’s homecoming parade will take place on Oct. 7 at 3 p.m. School will dismiss early at 1 p.m. for the high school and St. Pauls Elementary and Middle schools.
Purnell Swett High School
PSHS rams will observe homecoming week from Oct. 17-21.
Purnell Swett High School will host a homecoming game against Douglas Byrd High School at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 21.
