Dear Class of 2024,
The future is yours! You have spent many hours in our classrooms and school buildings learning about various school subjects and what it takes to be academically successful. You have made lifelong friends and memories you will cherish long after you cross the stage on graduation day.
Take a moment to look back and be proud of your accomplishments. Take a moment to thank those who have helped you along your journey. Take a moment to cherish where you are right now.
The truth is your education is one of the most important keys needed to open doors ahead of you. Your education is a foundation you can build upon for success. Do not take this lightly. Continue to build upon your knowledge and continue to invest in your future.
As you step into the next chapter of your life following your high school career, remember to take what you have learned as a student about the values of teamwork, diligence and perseverance with you. Those qualities will serve you well as you encounter challenges and difficulties and as you rise to overcome them.
Above all, I pray that you will seek divine guidance as you continue on your path to a brighter future. Remember always to do as the scripture Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.”
