Parents, As you know Valentine’s Day is tomorrow Tuesday February 14th. Although it’s a day to celebrate, the instructional day cannot be disturbed. There will not be any candy, flowers, balloons, stuffed animals or anything of that nature allowed on school grounds or school buses. If these items are seen on campus they will be confiscated and students will not be allowed to ride the bus. So, help us help you by waiting until you get home to exchange gifts. Thanks,

Parents, Currently, all high school students are competing against each other to become the PSRC Apex ACT Tutorial Champion. The competition will end on February 28 so we need all our 11th graders working hard to make PSHS the champions. The school with the highest overall percentage of gains achieved will be recognized and awarded the ACT Tutorials Trophy, along with a basket of gifts and prizes for selected teachers!! Three students from each school will also be awarded a “swag bag” and gift card for the highest percentage of gains in the ACT Math, ACT Reading and ACT English areas. So get ready and let's bring home that trophy.... GO RAMS!!!! Thanks and Have a Great Evening……

During our Policy Committee meeting, the recommendation was approved to delay the implementation of Policy 3450 – Class Rankings (Marshals and Graduation Honorees) until the 2023-24 school year. Class Rankings for the 2022-23 school year will take place at the conclusion of the third nine weeks as we’ve done in the past. Parents and students if you have additional questions, please follow up with your school counselor.

Parents, Testing will resume tomorrow Monday January 23rd with 3rd Period final exams and end Tuesday January 24th with fourth period final exams. Please do not forget that there will not be any sign-outs at all on testing days. School release at 1:30 pm so there should not be any reason for students to leave. I appreciate the help you gave last week in protecting our testing environment and I need that help again. Exams count 25% of a student’s final grade; therefore attendance is necessary. All missed exams equal a zero which is awful when calculating grades. Get a good night’s rest and I’ll see you in the morning.

Parents, I want to thank you for allowing us to have a wonderful testing session today. However, I want to remind you that like today we will not be signing students out for any reason tomorrow. Please talk with your child tonight about not being able to leave school early on testing days. School will release tomorrow at 1:30 so make all the necessary arrangements to care for your child. Exams are 25% of final grade; therefore, attendance is of the utmost importance. Students are expected to be present and accounted for. Also, students are not allowed to wear pajamas or any other sleep wear to school. I look forward to seeing everyone and remember to get a good night’s sleep.
