This is a message from PSHS, Seniors and Parents, Graduation practice is tomorrow Thursday, June 15 at 9 am. Students need to park behind the school and enter the 400 and 500 hallways. Students will receive tickets during graduation practice as long as the senior checkout form is completed and turned in. Also, Graduation is Friday, June 16. The ceremony will begin promptly at 9 am. All seniors should be on campus for lineup at 7 am and guests may enter the main commons at 7:30am. To ensure graduation begins on time, doors will close permanently at 8:45 am. Once again, if you are not here by 8:45am you will not be allowed to enter the building. If you are entering the school from Pembroke, you will use the student parking lot. If you are entering the school from Prospect/Maxton, you will use the staff parking lot. Handicap parking will be available in the staff parking lot. JROTC cadets will be directing traffic. Seniors are not allowed to wear hunting boots, crocs, tennis shoes, or jeans. Everyone should be in their Sunday best. Thanks and have a great night.

This is a message from Purnell Swett High School Parents, This is a message to remind you that EOC, CTE, and final exams will begin this Monday, June 5, 2023. Listen carefully to the following testing schedule: First period will test Monday, June 5th, Second period will test Tuesday, June 6th, Third period will test Wednesday, June 7th, and Fourth period will test Thursday, June 8th. Any student failing to take an exam will receive a zero for the exam grade which counts for 25% of their final grade. School will release at 1:30 Monday - Thursday and 1:00 Friday. During the testing schedule, there will not be any early dismissals or sign-outs. This is the same process we used last semester. The testing environment has to be protected in an effort for all students to receive a fair chance at doing well on their exams. So, please don't come to school expecting to pick up your child before 1:30 pm. Parents I need your help in making your child understand that pick ups will not be allowed. Seniors and Senior Parents Seniors and Senior Parents This message is to inform you that tomorrow Thursday May 11th the Senior Awards Ceremony will be held in the main gym beginning at 9:00am sharp. Visitors must park in the Bus parking lot. Only seniors receiving an award will be able to attend the ceremony. These students have been notified and must attend. Also, all seniors are invited to participate our annual Senior Day activities which begin immediately after second period. DJ Gizmo Shawnie Henderson will be on hand to provide the sound to go along with the activities put together by our very own PE Department. There will be pizzas, subs, chips and more to keep you hydrated and full. So, when the bell rings to go to third period all seniors need meet at the football field to have some fun. Dear Parents, Tomorrow Wednesday April 5th we will have a Keys To Life Activity taking place on the football field in an effort to educate students on the dangers of drinking and driving. This is a prevention activity in response to the school prom this Friday. Please do not be alarmed if you hear sirens from fire trucks, ambulances or police cars.
