The ceremony will take place at 5 p.m. Michael Baker is a 1977 Fairmont High School graduate. He has coached volleyball and basketball teams at the school and serves as the school's athletic director. He also teaches science at FHS. Please join us in honoring Coach Baker at the ceremony!

Parent Tip Build your child's powers of mental math Here's a way to help your child practice doing addition without a pencil or paper. Start by giving your student four single-digit numbers to add together. Pause after you say each number to allow your child enough time to add. When that is easy, give four double-digit numbers, also spaced out one at a time. Next, give four numbers all at once. Stand near your child when giving directions If you find yourself yelling instructions repeatedly to get your child to do as you ask, the problem could be the physical distance between you. When giving directions, stop what you're doing and walk over to your child. When you get close, you can use eye contact and facial expressions to get your child's attention. Robeson Health Care Corporation will have their Mobile Unit on Rex Rennert Campus every other Friday beginning October 28, 2022. Students must have parental consent to be seen. Services are available for all students, teachers and the community. For more information please see the flyer below.
