Summer School for Credit Recovery will be June 13-30, 2022 from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm Monday through Thursday. Students can recover up to two classes in English, Math, Science, or Social Studies only. Attendance must be in good standing for the year with under 25 absences or students will not be able to attend. Students must stay all four hours each day even if only one class needs to be recovered. Students must attend ALL 12 days with no tardies or early dismissals. If students cannot attend each day for any reason please do not send to summer school. If attendance policy is not followed students will be dismissed from summer school. All school rules will be enforced. Students are expected to adhere to dress code. Some dress code issues are half shirts, biker shorts, pants with holes in thigh area, hats, hoods, shorts that are not finger-tip length, and pajama pants to name a few. Please make sure your student dresses appropriately each day. Any discipline issues will result in dismissal from summer school.
This is a great opportunity for students to earn credits and stay on course for graduation. Students will be expected to behave and work the entire time. Breakfast and lunch will be served each day. If you have any questions about your child being eligible for summer school please contact your child’s guidance counselor. Buses will leave school around six to pick up students, so be ready. I only have 5 buses running Purnell Swett routes. It would be best to bring students the first day and ride the bus home so bus drivers will know where to pick up students.

Parents,
This is a message to remind you that EOC, CTE and final exams will begin this Friday May 27th. Listen carefully to the following testing schedule:
First period will test Friday May 27th
Second period will test Tuesday May 31st
Third period will test Wednesday June 1st
Fourth period will test Thursday June 2nd
And all makeups will test Friday June 3rd.
This schedule will be shown on the school webpage, Facebook, and I personally emailed all students. Any student failing to take an exam will receive a zero for the exam grade which counts for 25% of their final grade.
School will release at 1:30 pm on testing days except for the last day of school. I will send that time out at a later date.
During the testing schedule, there will not be any early dismissals or sign-outs. This is the same process we used last semester. The testing environment has to be protected in an effort for all students to receive a fair chance at doing well on their exams. So, please don’t come to the school expecting to pick up your child before 1:30 pm. Parents I need your help in making your child understand that pickups will not be allowed.
Thanks and Have a Great Night

Parents,
This message is a reminder about the Parent/Teacher conferences being held tomorrow evening Monday May 16th from 5:30 ---7:00 pm. Parents you are able to go straight to teachers’ room upon arriving on campus. However, be patient as some teachers may already be meeting with a parent so there may be a short wait time. I ask that you sign in with each teacher before or after meeting with them. This is a wonderful opportunity for parents and teachers to collaborate.

Parents and Seniors,
This Friday April 29th is the deadline to order graduation flags that will be displayed throughout the town of Pembroke. I sent the instructions on how to order the flags to all student’s email. So, parents please ask your child to go in their email and search for “Fast Tz Online Store for Purnell Swett.” The instructions are clear and concise. Once again parents this doesn’t seem like a big deal now but it will in a few weeks when you start going through town and seeing these flags.
Thanks and Have a Great Day
