Tomorrow, September 17th, the school will operate on a two hour delay. This means that buses will pick up students two hours later than normal. Car riders can be dropped off starting at 9:30 and students are tardy at 9:50. Breakfast will not be served.
For the safety of students, we ask that all cars drop off their students from the car rider line. Dropping them off from the road is dangerous and could cause serious harm.
Due to potential weather issues, Rec Football and Cheer signups tonight, Sept 16th, are rescheduled for tomorrow September 17th at 5:30.

The tardy bell rings each morning at 7:50. This is when instruction begins. Please have students on campus by this time. Any student that arrives after 7:50 needs to be checked in at the front office to receive a pass to class. We appreciate your cooperation.
For the safety of our students, parents should not walk their students to class. Kindergarten parents may walk their student to class for the rest of the week but should not starting September 3rd. All car riders should be dropped off through the car rider line. Do not drop them off at a different corner of the school or park on the street or lawn and then walk students across the road. Again, this is for the safety of students and we appreciate your cooperation.

The Parkton Elementary School staff is ready for a great year!
The first day of school for students is Monday, August 26th! We are so excited and have a few reminders about the school day. Students can be dropped off starting at 7:30 am. Instruction begins at 7:50 am. Students may not be checked out after 2:30 pm and dismissal is at 3:00 pm. We strongly encourage students to be at school the whole day to get the most of the provided instructional time! We also want you to know that breakfast will not be served on the first day of school.
Join us at our Open House Event on Thursday, August 22nd! You will have a chance to meet your students’ teachers, find out about transportation, and ask any other questions that you may have! We look forward to seeing you there!
