There will be NO SCHOOL for students on Monday, September 28, 2026, due to a scheduled Teacher Workday.
Our Parkton Bruins Football Team had a BUSY weekend representing Parkton!
On Friday, our Bruins joined in the Homecoming festivities and rode a float in the parade! 🎉 Then on Saturday, they traded the parade route for the football field and competed in the Middle School Football Jamboree! 🏈💪
We are proud of our players and coaches for showing that Bruin pride everywhere they go!

A message from Parkton Youth Association: Tuesday, September 15th, Parkton Youth Association will be holding rec football and cheerleading Sign up for 1st-6th graders from 6:00-7:00 at the Parkton Community Park Gazebo at 336 North Washington Street. Good evening, Bruin families! We have had a great start to the school year! With Day 11 approaching, we want to share a few reminders about our safety protocols:
* Bus riders must be outside and ready at their bus stop. Buses will not stop at empty bus stops.
* Beginning Day 11, families will say goodbye at the front courtyard.
* Beginning Day 11, ALL car riders must use the designated drop-off line. Students may not be dropped off along the road or on the sides of the school.
These procedures are in place for the safety of both our students and staff at Parkton Elementary. Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us keep our Bruins safe!
