Hello Early College Family. Our system is collecting data via a survey regarding parent wishes as it relates to returning to in person instruction. This data on student and parent preference is critical in helping our Board of Education make a decision on PSRC Re-Entry at its February 9th, 2021 Board Meeting. You may find the survey on our school website, the PSRC Webpage, and our PSRC Facebook page. Please participate in this survey as soon as possible so your voice can be heard regarding this very important matter. We are beginning the 2021-2022 school year acceptance process with virtual interest meetings next Tuesday the 9th and Thursday the 11th. Please help us get the word out and for those parents interested in attending have them contact their child’s middle school counselor. These counselors are collecting names and email addresses so we can send out the invite link. Remember that February 15th is a teacher workday. However, students need to plan on attending their college side classes. Early College students will participate in a remote learning day much like our current Friday’s are. The ACT will be administered on Tuesday February 23rd. All Juniors must take this test. Scoring high enough will satisfy all college entrance requirements. Please be sure to be at school by 8:00 on that day. The vans will be running but your student must let Miss Tara Sinclair know if they need transportation. Thank you. Dr. Clark

Hello, this is a gentle reminder about the possibility of receiving the PEBT Food Card from DSS sometime this summer. In order for our students to qualify the first step is to complete the lunch application found on our web site. Look to the lower left under the word NEWS for the link to the application. Be sure to create an account when you complete the application so you will know if your child qualifies or not. The school will not know if you qualify since financial data is not shared with the school. Have a great weekend. Dr. Clark

Hello Early College Family, Refunds for last year's trip to Washington DC will be distributed on Monday beginning at 10:00 am . Please try not to arrive before then since the office may not be ready to distribute the refund. If the refund has not been picked up by 3:30 on Monday then you will have to wait until sometime after Christmas for your reimbursement, so please make every effort to come by the school on Monday between 10:00 am and 3:30 pm. I do appreciate the patience that many of you have exhibited regarding your refunds. Thank you and have a Happy and Safe Thanksgiving Holiday. Dr. Clark

Dear Early College Family, we have completed the process of documenting how much each student had paid for last years cancelled Washington DC Trip. We now have had to order more school checks before we can reimburse each student. That is being done today for us. Afterwards the Central Office will send someone out to write those checks since our Bookkeeper is out on sick leave. Afterwards, I will call again with the option of either picking up your check or having us mail it. We appreciate your continued patience as we work through this process while shorthanded. Our next step is to then contact businesses and community members who made donations to determine if they also wish to have refunds. Report cards have been mailed. November 11th is a holiday as is November 25th through the 27th. Registration training for college classes will be next week for 11th - 13th graders. Registration forms will be shared then and will be due the following week. Tenth graders will be placed in their college classes by the administration. Have a great evening.

Dear Parents, I am sorry that our zoom ended the way it did. Please accept my apologies. From now on we will use a different application requiring students to log in with their email and passwords. We are all learning how to function in this virtual environment and some people are intent on doing bad things. Again, we are sorry.
