Hello rising Freshmen.
If you attended the Public Schools of Robeson County last year, then there is no additional information we need from you at this time. There will be forms you will be completing the first week of school.
If you are a student who has been in private school or home-schooled last year then you will need to complete an enrollment form and provide us with a copy of your birth certificate and immunization record. We will begin collecting this data on June 5th.
Please remember that beginning June 13th we will begin our short schedules. Our school will be open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 to 5:00 pm, and our offices will be closed on Fridays.
You can expect a mailing from the school containing the school calendar (our school follows a completely different schedule) and any information regarding Open House, later in the summer.
Thank you,
Dr. Clark

The Project Graduation prize drawing has been scheduled for Thursday June 9th at 1:00pm. Keep a lookout for the live stream link on the Public Schools of Robeson County website. If your name is drawn for a prize, expect a call on Friday June 10th to schedule a pick up time for your gift.
Good luck to each and every one of you.
Dr. Clark

Hello Early College family.
Our students are in the process of signing up for Fall 2022 courses. State law requires that we ensure that every one of our students take at least 1 high school class every semester. There is no way around that.
Juniors typically take 1 high school class in the fall and two in the spring. Our seniors and advanced seniors take 1 each semester. The Seniors will generally take their foreign language requirement (one each semester). Our Advanced seniors must take the 2 CTE courses offered here on campus. There is simply no other choice for them at this time. Please have your student download Program Evals from the college side and discuss with them the courses they have remaining and what they should take. Remember as well that they must maintain a 2.8 GPA in order to receive that Associates Degree. We will have no option but to either send students back to their home high schools or graduate them early if their GPA falls below that.
Another important reminder, students cannot miss any more than 5 periods during a semester. This means that they may miss PE 5 times, or Science 5 times, etcetera. If they miss more that, regardless of the reason, they must make those days up during Saturday Academy. We continue to have students being checked out early and then being marked absent for the periods they miss. Public School policy requires us to either allow the student to make up those missed periods or they must receive an F in any course in which they have missed more than 5 periods. Please ensure that you are aware of your child’s attendance and please plan to have your child participate in Saturday School to make up any time they may need, the semester will end May 17th. Attending 1 Saturday school will make up for 4 periods missed.
Thank you,
Dr. Clark
