Dear Parents,
September 15 to October 15 is National Hispanic American Heritage Month. This month, our school is celebrating Hispanic Heritage. Students have spent this month learning about different Hispanic customs and traditions. In addition to all the fun school events planned, our resource classes will be working on fun projects such as artwork and dance. The concluding celebration will consist of a parade in the hallways on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. Each grade level will march through the halls, sharing maracas, dancing, and showing off Hispanic heritage attire. Heritage attire includes but is not limited to sombreros, scrapes, and various other clothing.
