Dear Parents, Students, and Staff of the Public Schools of Robeson County,
On behalf of the Board of Education for the Public Schools of Robeson County, I am pleased to welcome you all to school for the 2023-2024 academic year!
We look forward to working with you and communicating with you often about exciting events in our schools. We look forward to this upcoming school year and all of the opportunities it will present for student success.
Our goal this school year is to continue working collaboratively within this district as part of one team with one goal in mind, which is the success of our students. We ask that you join us in working to make that goal a reality this school year. When we as district leaders, teachers, administrators and parents work together to communicate and ensure the success of our students, we will see our students benefit in a powerful way.
Our schools provide classroom learning environments where students receive the targeted support they need and the opportunity to learn through lessons that are engaging and interactive. Students are encouraged to engage in class discussions and are involved in projects that allow them to solve problems and explore their world across various cultures.
PSRC educators have adopted teaching strategies that truly bring education to life for our students. We will continue our work to enhance the educational experiences of our students and to provide them with the sound, basic education they deserve.
Through character education, our students learn the importance and meaning of words like perseverance and how they can make a positive impact in the world around them like many others have before them.
This school year it is our hope that students will hone their skills, develop a passion for learning and use their knowledge to make a difference in their communities and in the lives of those around them. When challenges come this year, I hope you will remember that we are all in this together and that “with God, all things are possible,” as Matthew 19:26 states.
