Hello SPES Parents,
In the next few days, you will be receiving a call from the staff about the reopening of school and transportation preferences. We are planning to return Prek-3 grade students on an A/B schedule. This means that ½ of the students will come to school on A week, while the other half of students will attend school on B week. The option for students to attend school virtually will still remain an option during the Covid pandemic. Please be aware of the following as we prepare for bringing students back to school:
We are preparing to bring PreK-3 students back to school first in January.
Buses can only have a maximum of 26 people due to Covid Guidelines.
There will be no switching of buses and bus loads due to Covid guidelines until all students return to school.
If you choose for your child to be a car rider, the child will remain a car rider until all students return to school or until the remainder of the year.
No switching from cars to buses will be allowed.
If you choose virtual learning for your child, you will not need to choose a mode of transportation. However, please understand that your child will remain on virtual learning until all students return to school or until the remainder of the school year.
In order to adequately prepare to reopen schools, we will need a valid phone number and address for student pick up and drop off.
