NSTEM Honor Society Induction Ceremony

May 31, 2022, at 5 p.m. marks the first year of the National STEM honor Society at Lumberton Junior High School and the first Induction into NSTEM Honor Society. Students in grade 6-8 were inducted into the National STEM Honor Society. 

The STEM Honor Society at LJH provides students with unique experience of real-world application in STEM through CTE, Math and Science. Students are afforded the opportunity to participate in computer Science Discovers (coding course), Robotics (Lego ev3) Future City Competition and Girls Who Game (Minecraft). To receive this invitation students must maintain a B average or higher in their STEM class and participate and complete a STEM enrichment at LJH’s afterschool program.
