Under Mayor presentations I unveiled a new group to our board and community. For the past month I have been working with a teacher at FHS to pinpoint 6 seniors who would serve as Golden Ambassadors for our town government. Those selected to this first time ever group in Fairmont were: SERENITY JONES, PARKER WOLLENWEBER, RODERICK DEESE, RANIYAH DEAL, BRADLEY LITTLE, AND KENSLEY NEWBERRY. They were introduced by me in their official dress of white shirts, black slacks, and sporting gold metallic name tags. Their duties will include special guest escorts and guides, event and program assistants, and tutors/mentors to younger students. They will serve throughout the school year until their graduation in June.
