Hello Carroll Middle School Family, there will be no school tomorrow. Next week we will have spirit week to support Lumberton Senior High School as they celebrate their homecoming week. Monday will be Pajama day, please remember to adhere to the school dress code. Tuesday is twin day, Wednesday is hat day, Thursday dress as your favorite celebrity or wear your favorite sports team, and Friday is future pirate day. Wear maroon and gold to support the Lumberton high school pirates. Please be safe this weekend as Hurricane Ian makes its way through our area and we will see you on Monday.
On Tuesday, September 27, 2022, Carroll Middle School will have a Title I Parent Night.
PTO will begin at 5:30 - 6:00 pm
Title 1 Parent Night at 6:00 - 6:30 pm
Grade Level High Expectation Presentations in the classrooms at 6:30 - 7:00 pm.
Please note:
PTO and Title 1 Parent night meetings will be held in the cafeteria and Grade level presentations will be held in the classrooms.
Tutoring will not be cancelled on Tuesday, 9/27/2022.
PSRC Bus Classes will be offered on Oct. 6, 7, and 10 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
There are limited slots available and preregistration is required.

In order to keep our students and staff safe while we are still in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are asking that you all please remember to do the following:
Students are expected to wear a mask at all times while in the school building and riding the school bus. Students are also expected to adhere to physical distancing requirements
If your student has tested positive for COVID-19, please keep them at home.
If your student is exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, please keep them at home and have them tested.
If your student is awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test, please keep them at home.
If anyone that resides in your immediate household has tested positive for COVID-19, please keep your student at home.
Parents there are two forms that need to be filled out for your child to get their chromebook. One is the chromebook terms of use form that was in their student packet. The other is the internet agreement form.
There is a QR code sheet that will take you to the internet agreement form link when it is scanned with your phone camera or QR reader app. This paper is also included in the student packet. You can also access the form by visiting the Gilbert Carroll Middle School website and navigating to news, and then click student forms.
Please join us for Open-House on Thursday, August 19th, from 1 P.M. to 6 P.M. Open-House will be drive through, with students and parents remaining in their vehicles. Rising 5th graders should enter through the Kahn drive entrance and 4th graders should enter through the Bailey road entrance. Teachers will host a question and answer session via Google Meet from 1 P.M. to 6 P.M. Google meet links will be posted on the school website.
