To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:

  1. Applicants are evaluated according to academic ability, social awareness, financial need and appreciation of labor.

  2. A GPA of 3.0 or higher is recommended.

DAR Scholarships - $20,000 - 37 Awards (Deadline: January 31, 2025)


To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:


  1. A recent copy of your high school transcript and/or college and graduate school transcript. Unofficial transcripts may be submitted at the time of application.

  2. Proof of United States citizenship.

  3. A one page document or listing of your extra-curricular activities, honors received, and scholastic achievements.

  4. A personal statement of 1,000 words or less setting forth your career objectives.

Phyllis G. Meekins Scholarship - $5,000 - 2 Awards (Deadline: January 31, 2025)


To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:


  1. To a female high school senior from a recognized minority background who will be pursuing a full-time course of study and has signed a letter of intent to play golf at an accredited college or university in the United States.

To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:


  1. Plan to attend an HBCU next year.

  2. Have an interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math.

  3. High school students looking to make the world or your community a better place.

Dr. Aura- Lee A. and James Hobbs Pittenger American History Scholarship - $8,000 - 1 Award (Deadline: January 31, 2025)


To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:


  1. Must be a citizen of the United States to apply for one of the national scholarships offered by the DAR Scholarship Committee.

  2. Applicants must also attend or plan to attend an accredited college or university in the United States.

Inspire Scholarship - $10,000 - 1 Award (Deadline: January 31, 2025)


To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:


  1. Must be a U.S. resident who is/will be attending an accredited, U.S. college or university.

  2. This scholarship will be awarded to someone who is related to a person working in fields of Talent Acquisition or Recruiting, defined as a person in any role within corporate recruiting, human resources, talent acquisition or talent management or a vendor in any of those spaces.

SM Scholarship - $2,000 - 12 Awards (Deadline: January 31, 2025)


To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:


  1. A parent who currently has a child enrolled in an accredited college or university located within the United States.

  2. A student who is currently enrolled in an accredited college or university located within the United States.

  3. A parent who currently has a child enrolled as a high school senior located within the United States.

  4. A student who is currently enrolled as a high school junior or senior who intents to enroll in an accredited college or university located with the United States, within a year of graduating high school.
